BUILDING on the success of last year, the Seri Delima service centre has once again offered free haircuts to the Seri Delima community.
This year, the centre partnered with Hairstory International to provide free haircuts to 100 pre-registered participants.
Seri Delima assemblyman Connie Tan noted the enthusiastic response from residents last year.
“Given the overwhelming support, we decided to bring back the free haircut session this year, this time in collaboration with Hairstory International.
“We are grateful to Hairstory International for this meaningful partnership and for bringing up to 30 hairstylists to participate in the event,” she said during the event at the Block C community hall in Jalan Gangsa today.
Tan also took the opportunity to share updates with the participants.
“With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, it is a perfect time for our Seri Delima residents to come together.
“In collaboration with our pasar malam community, we will be hosting a variety of fun activities, including singing and mooncake distribution, on Sept 7 to celebrate the festival.
“We warmly invite everyone to join us in celebrating this vibrant occasion,” she said.
Tan also highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve Seri Delima.
“We have removed a high-risk tree near the road junction of Jalan Gangsa to ensure public safety.
“In addition, we have upgraded Jalan Gangsa and its pavements to enhance mobility for residents,” she said.
With active engagement, Seri Delima continues to thrive as a close-knit neighbourhood that prioritises the well-being and happiness of its residents.
