EASTER is a celebration of renewal and new beginnings, and what better way to embrace its spirit than by sharing the joy with children?
Adding a sweet twist to the festivities, La Chica, a popular family-friendly restaurant located in Straits Quay, will be hosting a fun-filled Easter Cookies Class on April 13 (Sunday), for children aged 3 to 12.
Outlet manager Joshua Jeevan shared that the event is designed to spread Easter cheer among the little ones while fostering a sense of unity and togetherness.

“As a family-oriented restaurant, we place great emphasis on bonding and shared experiences.
“Through this cookies class, we aim to bring families together and ignite the joy of Easter in a creative and meaningful way,” he said when contacted recently.
With about 30 children expected to participate, this marks the fourth time La Chica is organising a festive event for young ones, continuing their tradition of community engagement and celebration.
“We are excited to play a small but meaningful part in spreading love and joy this Easter,” he added.

Elsewhere across the island and mainland, churches are also preparing their own programmes and activities in the lead-up to Easter Sunday, which falls on April 20 this year.
From services to family events, communities are coming together to celebrate this season of hope and new life.
