Strive to achieve more for Penang, says Chow

CHIEF Minister Chow Kon Yeow is eager to accomplish more accolades for Penang in his second term.

He said he was grateful for the support rendered to him and his party colleagues in the recently concluded state election.

“There will be challenges ahead and we will strive to do our best.

“We have struggled for years before successfully getting the people’s support.

“We did not give up on ourselves but continue to work hard for the sake of the people.

“I hope to realise the Penang2030 vision in my final term,” he said in his speech during the Datok Keramat assemblyman Jagdeep Singh Deo’s thanksgiving dinner at Berjaya George Town Hotel today.

Chow expressed his gratitude to everyone for the mandate given.

“My heartfelt congratulations to Jagdeep, who is the current Deputy Chief Minister II,” he said.

Jagdeep extended his fullest appreciation to Chow for the trust given.

“I will give my best,” he said, thanking his constituency volunteers.

Among those present were Bukit Gelugor MP Ramkarpal Singh, state assemblymen, and Penang Island City Council (MBPP) mayor Datuk A. Rajendran.
