DEPUTY Chief Minister II Professor Dr P. Ramasamy said Penang Tech Dome has successfully helped to trigger interest in science among students to create scientific inventions for a better future.
Speaking at the Penang Tech Dome’s Deepavali celebrations at its premises in Komtar recently, he said Tech Dome has been organising yearly events to instill interest in science among the students.
He said statistics show that more than 60,000 people have been visiting Penang Tech Dome yearly and the management has been organising corporate social responsibility events to encourage students to create and invent scientific equipment to benefit mankind.
All present were Sri Delima assemblymember R.S.N. Rayer, Penang Tech Dome chief executive officer Dr Khong Yoon Loong, Temple of Fine Arts chairman P. Murugiah and Penang Ramanis Stores managing director S. Pathinathan.
