PENANG will play host to the International Semiconductor Executive Summit Southeast Asia (ISES SEA) 2024, with over 100 top-level executives from the global semiconductor industry expected to attend. The summit will take place from Nov 5 to 6 at the Eastern and Oriental Hotel.
Organised by the International Semiconductor Industry Group (ISIG), the event will showcase the latest advancements, trends, and sustainable practices shaping the future of semiconductor technology.
Key topics for ISES SEA 2024 include ‘Innovations and Trends in Advanced Manufacturing, which will explore cutting-edge techniques and technologies transforming the industry, and ‘Sustainable Practices in Semiconductor Development, addressing the critical need for sustainable solutions in the production and use of semiconductor technology.
Some 20 industry-leading speakers will be present to share their insights and expertise through transformative sessions, high-panel discussions, and over 15 hours of networking opportunities with key decision-makers.
National Semiconductor Hub KSA chairman Dr. Naveed Sherwani, a visionary leader in the semiconductor industry, will be one of the keynote speakers during the two-day summit.
Having served in leading semiconductor companies such as Open-Silicon, Brite Semiconductor, and SiFive, Dr Sherwani’s presence is expected to draw attention from existing and future semiconductor experts during the event.
He is recognised for pioneering innovations that have shaped the global chip industry.
In addition to his keynote address, Dr. Sherwani will participate in a panel discussion titled ‘Investing for Tomorrow: Funding the Next Wave of Semiconductor Growth’, where he will share his insights on the investment strategies required to fuel the semiconductor industry’s next phase of expansion.
ISIG chief executive officer Salah Nasri, in a media statement, said that events like ISES SEA 2024 will be crucial to ensure the semiconductor industry continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace while staying ahead of the curve.
