REPRESENTATIVES from UEM Edgenta this evening made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at his office in Komtar.
They comprised managing director Datuk Azmir Merican, chief operating officer of Opus International (M) Berhad Tony Chan Tuck Leong and executive director of Edgenta PROPEL Berhad Chin Chi Haw.
The UEM delegation proposed to the chief minister methods on highway improvement concerning projects and also flood control among others.
Azmir suggested that highway improvement experts from UEM will assist the state in the PIL (highway) project.
He also said the flood control equipment from the company comprising two gigantic vessels can help to address flooding issues.
Meanwhile, Chow said the proposals by UEM Edgenta will be looked into, and follow up to be done accordingly.
