WomenBizSENSE, a dynamic network supporting women entrepreneurs, celebrated its 18th anniversary with a Wonderland-themed afternoon tea party at Olive Hotel recently. The event brought together members and guests for a delightful afternoon of sisterhood, learning, and fun.
A highlight of the celebration was the enlightening talk on ‘Afternoon Tea Etiquette’ by Elizabeth Hor, who captivated the audience with her insights and engaging presentation. The whimsical decorations and lively atmosphere added to the charm of the occasion, making it a memorable day for all.
The celebration also featured a highly successful raffle draw, which raised an impressive RM22,000. The proceeds were donated to Pusat Jagaan Suria, a centre dedicated to providing educational and training programmes for children with intellectual disabilities.
Organising chairman Jerrica Tan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the committee members, sponsors, and all participants who contributed to the event’s success on Dec 7.
“This milestone is a testament to the strength of our community and the shared vision of uplifting one another,” she said.
Among those present were WomenBizSENSE co-founders Krista Goon and Datin Josephine Yoong, president Tebby Tan, organising chairman Mily Goh, co-ordinator Florence H’ng, and Pusat Jagaan Suria senior assistant Jayah Doraisamy and teacher/administrator Betty Ng Lee Hoon.
WomenBizSENSE looks forward to continued growth, connection, and empowerment, remaining steadfast in its mission to inspire and support women entrepreneurs in their journey to achieving their dreams.
