THE women entrepreneurs of WomenBizSENSE are organising a workshop for children during the coming school holidays this month.
Called the ‘Next Gen’, it will be held on Feb 18 from 9am to 12 noon at Ladang Oasis in Jalan Kebun Bungah. It is for only 20 children from seven to 12 years old.
It’s a 3-in-1 activity – learn how to play GO or Weiqi, learn about Atomic Habits and have a farm-fresh salad lunch.
GO, a strategy board game for two players, was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago. It is believed to be the oldest board game that is being played till today by over 46 million people worldwide.
The game will be taught by a teacher from the Penang Weiqi Association.
In addition to that, the children will also benefit by listening to WomenBizSENSE member, Li Li, who will share tips from the book, Atomic Habits by James Clear.
Li Li wants to inculcate in the children the importance and discipline of building good habits for life.
To top it off, the children get to enjoy a healthy farm-fresh salad and drinks after a quick introduction and tour of the hydroponic farm.
For details, contact Li Li at 012-5798 358 or register online for the workshop: https://forms.gle/m1zvAtziF3czd6bC7
