CALLING all environmental lovers.
A Training of Trainer (TOT) environmental workshop will be held at the Cititel in Penang Road on Sept 7 and 8 from 9am to 5pm.
The workshop provides trainer, practitioner, or educator with invaluable facilitation techniques used by professional trainers.
Its objective is also to deliver as a well-equipped environmental education trainer on issues related to climate change, waste, water and energy.
Organised by Penang Green Council (PGC) under the state government, a series of interactive and interesting activitiest will be held.
PGC assistant general manager Hoo Huey Ching said the activities include group discussions, role play, creative content delivery by developments and promote critical thinking.
Through a series of interactive activities, the participant will learn how to plan and deliver training sessions that meet the needs of the participants and engage them from opening to ending.
The participants will also receive constructive feedback throughout the workshop as well as practical tips on how they can continue to improve.
Such workshop suits those adult learner aged above 18 who have a basic understanding of green topics.
Early birds registration by Aug 15 are entitled to a 20 percent offer from the RM300 normal fee while group registration for student and senior citizen would be 30 percent off.
