IF you are between 16 and 30 years old, you are welcome to join the Young Democrat Workshop 2020.
State Youth and Sports Committee chairman Soon Lip Chee said the workshop would be a good platform for youths to hone their talents and learn the concept of good democracy.
“It also serves as a platform for them to enhance their experience and knowledge on current issues,” Soon told a press conference in Komtar on Jan 3.
The workshop is one of the annual programmes organised by Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) that has been since 2016.

A total of 30 participants are expected to participate in every workshop that will be held for three days and two nights.
Soon added that the programme would be divided into two sessions – ‘Young Democrat Workshop’ to introduce youths to the concept of democracy and ‘Sidang Muda’, a simulation programme as per discussion in the State Assembly.
